Warehousing, Fulfillment & Logistics Services in Southern California
The Papez Company is a family-owned and operated warehouse in Montclair, CA, in the Inland Empire, approximately 50 miles from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. We provide warehousing and logistics services in Southern California, from storage and fulfillment to marketplace forwarding, rework, and freight, for e-commerce brands, importers, manufacturers, and distributors.
How the services fit together
Inventory comes in once. Fulfillment services, rework, and freight happen in the same Inland Empire building.
Most logistics problems come from handoffs: a storage vendor here, a fulfillment vendor there, a freight broker somewhere else, and nobody who can see the whole picture. The Papez Company runs the full sequence of 3PL services under one roof, from the dock where your product arrives to the truck that takes it away. Start with the service you need today and add the rest without changing vendors.
Because the same team receives, stores, picks, reworks, and ships your inventory, questions get answered by the people who actually touched the boxes. That is the practical difference between a family-owned operation and a large multi-client distribution center.

01 · Storage
Warehousing
Commercial storage for pallets, cartons, and SKUs in a secure, FDA registered facility in the Inland Empire. Product is checked in against your paperwork, put away with a location, and kept organized until it is needed.
Warehousing is the base layer: every other service on this page works from stock that is already on the shelf here.
- Receiving from trucks and containers
- Palletized and carton storage
- Overflow, seasonal, and ongoing arrangements
- Approximately 50 miles from the ports

02 · Fulfillment
Pick & Pack Fulfillment
Orders are picked from your stored inventory, packed for the carrier, labeled, and staged for pickup. E-commerce parcels and B2B case or pallet orders are both handled, from the same stock.
The result for your team: less material handling, less time spent on boxes, and a faster path from order to shipment.
- E-commerce (parcel) and B2B (case/pallet) picking
- Packing, labeling, and shipment prep
- Shipping coordination with carriers
- Reduced internal handling and labor

03 · Fulfillment
E-Commerce Fulfillment
Fulfillment services in the Inland Empire for online brands that have outgrown a garage, back room, or first small space. Inventory is stored in Montclair, orders are picked and packed as they come in, and shipments go out to consumers and wholesale accounts.
You scale without signing a lease, hiring warehouse staff, or buying equipment.
- Direct-to-consumer and wholesale from one inventory
- Storage that grows with your catalog
- Hands-on setup for each account
- Southern California shipping origin

04 · Marketplace
Amazon & Walmart FBA Forwarding
Inventory is received, stored, prepared to marketplace requirements, reworked if something is wrong, and forwarded to Amazon fulfillment centers or into Walmart's fulfillment network.
Holding reserve stock near the ports lets sellers replenish in smaller lots and fix packaging problems before a shipment is refused.
- Receiving and reserve storage
- Prep: labeling, bagging, bundling, carton and pallet build
- Rework when packaging or labels are wrong
- Freight coordination to fulfillment centers

05 · Inventory
Inventory Management
Every SKU has a location. Inbound counts, outbound movement, and on-hand quantities are recorded and reported to you, so you can plan replenishment and promotions with real numbers.
When a product is needed, it is retrieved quickly and prepared for fulfillment, rework, or shipping.
- Organized, located storage
- Movement tracked in and out
- Counts reported on an agreed cadence
- Fast retrieval for orders and shipments

06 · Value-added
Assembly & Rework
Repackaging, reconfiguration, light assembly, label corrections, and packaging fixes, done inside the warehouse on inventory we already hold.
Labor-intensive work stays off your floor and off your schedule, and finished product goes straight back to stock or out the door.
- Repackaging and pack-count changes
- Assembly of sets and multipacks
- Rework and packaging corrections
- Prep for retail, marketplace, or distribution

07 · Freight
Freight Shipping & Receiving
Full truckload and less-than-truckload freight coordinated from the same dock that holds your inventory. We negotiate rates with carriers, schedule pickups for standard or expedited service, and handle receiving on the inbound side.
One point of contact for the warehouse and the freight, so nothing falls between two vendors.
- FTL and LTL coordination
- Carrier rate negotiation
- Standard and expedited pickup scheduling
- Inbound receiving and discrepancy reporting

Getting started
What the first month looks like
A typical sequence for a new account. The pace follows your inbound schedule, not ours.
Week 1
Scoping call and written plan
We go through what you store, how it arrives, how orders reach us, how it ships out, and how you want counts reported. You get a written plan and a quote for exactly those services.
Week 1 to 2
Receiving plan
Routing instructions for your suppliers or freight forwarder, the packing-list format we check against, and any labeling or prep the product needs before it can be put away or forwarded.
Week 2 to 3
First inbound
Your first container, truckload, or parcels arrive at our dock in Montclair. Everything is counted against the paperwork, discrepancies are reported to you, and product goes into located storage.
Week 3 to 4
First orders and shipments out
Pick and pack, marketplace forwarding, or freight starts moving. We review the first runs with you and adjust packing specs, reporting cadence, or scheduling before volume ramps.
How a quote is built
Line items for the services you use, and nothing else
Every quote is scoped to your volume and how your product moves. These are the parts it is built from.
01
Receiving
Unloading, counting against your paperwork, and put-away for each inbound container, truckload, or parcel delivery.
02
Storage
The space your inventory occupies, by pallet or by location, for the period it is here.
03
Fulfillment and handling
Picking, packing, labeling, and staging, priced to the way you ship: parcel orders, case picks, or full pallets.
04
Prep, assembly, and rework
Project-based labor such as marketplace prep, repackaging, relabeling, or building sets, scoped from a sample and a spec.
05
Freight
Outbound FTL, LTL, or parcel shipments quoted per shipment at the carrier rates we negotiate, plus any expedited handling you request.
FAQ
Questions about working with us
Can we use just one service, or do we have to sign up for all of them?
Use what you need. You can start with warehousing or freight and add pick and pack or rework later. Because everything runs in one building, adding a service does not mean moving inventory.
Do you work with both e-commerce and B2B customers?
Yes. Parcel orders for consumers and case or pallet orders for retailers and distributors are picked from the same inventory. See pick and pack and e-commerce fulfillment.
Where is the warehouse?
4060 Mission Blvd., Montclair, CA 91763, in the Inland Empire on the Interstate 10 corridor, bordering Los Angeles County, approximately 50 miles from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Call 909-229-4482 or see warehousing in Montclair.
Do you offer full 3PL services or only storage?
Full 3PL services. Inventory is received and stored through commercial warehousing, then picked, packed, prepped for marketplaces, reworked, or shipped as FTL and LTL freight from the same building. See third-party logistics in the Inland Empire.
How do we get a quote?
Send a quote request with what you store or ship, roughly how much, and how it moves in and out, or call 909-229-4482. We will come back with a plan and pricing for your situation.
Tell us what you need to store, prepare, or ship.
We will scope the right combination of services and send a quote.
